Each week we gather as a community to worship. For 90 minutes we give up control so that we can listen to God through the reading of scripture and the sharing of our stories.  We also offer our lives to God through spoken and sung prayers. Some of our worship gatherings are more elaborate than others; some are like a gourmet meal, while others are your basic peanut-butter-and-jam fare. In any case, there’s work involved.  

This summer we want to try something new: Simple Sabbath.

​Our three Simple Sabbath worship gatherings (June 30, August 4, August 25) will be short (approximately 30 minutes), and will include scripture reading, silence, and spoken and sung prayers.  We trust that our experiment with a new rhythm proves to be restful and refreshing.
